This page describes the cookies and similar browser-storage technologies used by Omnilys at omnilys.com.

We use a deliberately small set of strictly-functional storage items. We do not use cookies for advertising, cross-site tracking, or third-party analytics.

What we use

`omnilys_theme`	`localStorage`	Remembers your light/dark mode preference.	Persistent until cleared by you.
`omnilys_nudged`	`sessionStorage`	Records that the post-analysis nudge banner has already been shown in this session, to avoid repeating it.	Until you close the tab.
(in-memory token)	JavaScript variable	Your authentication token. Held in JavaScript memory only — never written to a cookie or localStorage. Cleared when you refresh, close the tab, or log out.	Tab session only.

We do not set HTTP cookies for authentication. We do not use third-party cookies. We do not embed third-party trackers (no Google Analytics, no Facebook Pixel, no advertising SDKs).

Subprocessors that may set their own cookies

A small number of pages or interactions involve our subprocessors, which may set their own cookies on your browser:

Stripe sets cookies on the Stripe Checkout page and Customer Portal as needed for payment processing and fraud prevention. Stripe's cookie policy: https://stripe.com/privacy
Sentry does not set cookies in our deployment.
Railway, Anthropic, OpenAI, Google, xAI — these are reached only through server-to-server API calls and never set cookies on your browser through Omnilys.

How to control cookies

Your browser lets you block or delete cookies and clear localStorage/sessionStorage. Doing so for omnilys.com will sign you out and reset your theme.

Do Not Track / Global Privacy Control

We do not act on the legacy "Do Not Track" header (it lacks a standard). We do honor the Global Privacy Control (GPC) signal as an opt-out request under the CCPA/CPRA — though as we do not sell or share personal information for advertising, the practical effect is limited.

We will update this page if we add or remove a cookie or storage item.
