This page describes the cookies and similar browser-storage technologies used by Omnilys at omnilys.com.
We use a deliberately small set of strictly-functional storage items. We do not use cookies for advertising, cross-site tracking, or third-party analytics.
| Name | Type | Purpose | Lifetime |
|---|---|---|---|
omnilys_theme |
localStorage |
Remembers your light/dark mode preference. | Persistent until cleared by you. |
omnilys_nudged |
sessionStorage |
Records that the post-analysis nudge banner has already been shown in this session, to avoid repeating it. | Until you close the tab. |
| (in-memory token) | JavaScript variable | Your authentication token. Held in JavaScript memory only — never written to a cookie or localStorage. Cleared when you refresh, close the tab, or log out. | Tab session only. |
We do not set HTTP cookies for authentication. We do not use third-party cookies. We do not embed third-party trackers (no Google Analytics, no Facebook Pixel, no advertising SDKs).
A small number of pages or interactions involve our subprocessors, which may set their own cookies on your browser:
We do not act on the legacy "Do Not Track" header (it lacks a standard). We do honor the Global Privacy Control (GPC) signal as an opt-out request under the CCPA/CPRA — though as we do not sell or share personal information for advertising, the practical effect is limited.
We will update this page if we add or remove a cookie or storage item.
